The Fall of House Blackstone

___________________________

The rain was getting heavier as the dark clouds from the East returned once again, only this time he was alone. A single man to face the onslaught of the Deadric Prince, Molag Baal, would most certainly fail. He knew this. However, it did not phase him. It's hard to deter a man from anything while he watches his home burn to the ground. Just hours earlier this cloud of vile fith, poured down the wrath of the Evil Prince as if you were in the dwellings of a sinking ship. Only this was no ship, and that was not the water. Not the sweet release of a quiet death while you drown. No, this was Evil in it's most ravaging of forms, and it was unforgiving.

House Blackstone was once a Monastary Stronghold devoted to keeping the peace, and protecting all the holds within Skyrim, all in the name of Stendarr. The leading Virtue that united every Brother and Sister of House Blackstone was Justice. And that was how they lived, upholding the justice of the Land, and of Stendarr. Their leader, also father of Jorgel, Vikar Blackstone was a stern, yet passionate leader. He tought you how to be strong first, fast second, and smart when you needed to be. Now was the time to be smart. The anger however, it was clouding the options weighing in front of him.

Still heariring the screams of his fallen brethren, he tightens his grip on the handle of Arvindr, his brilliantly gleaming War Sword. So large it would take two men of normal strength to lift, let alone swing it. Arvindr has been at Jorgels' side ever since he was iniated into House Blackstone. It's accompanied him on every grand adventure, mission, and battle since he swore the words; "Justice Withstands". But this was no battle, it was a slaughter, and where Justice once stood, only a burning, collapsing keep remained.

Suddenly, the swirling dark clouds being spitting out huge bolts of lighting, followed by thunder that sounded more like the screams of pain and anguish from the battle earlier, than actual thunder. With the wind picking up around him, and the flames quickly getting swept up in the swirls of the mighty breeze, he sheathes his sword realizing that if Justice is to Withstand, he must run. Removing his helm and strapping it on the side of his horse, he takes one last look back; the fires rage upon every tower, what little wood is left is decaying and falling in on itself. Not allowing anymore hesitation, he jumps up on his horse, Sandor, and starts putting more and more distance between himself, and the place he once called Home.

"Everything is gone... everyone is gone... I will not let this happen to anyone else, these abominations will pay. I will bring them Justice, in His name."

He vows while the sounds of the storm fade from behind him. Now it is quiet.

Completely up to you how much you write about your backstory, but you don't need to finish it before jumping in.  I am always writing some more on Al's backstory, or future, but you just need to figure out what stage your character is in when he enters the RP.

you can always have your character evolve throughout the RP, but that is also completely up to you.

great stuff so far, keep it up!
